It is also known as silver vine because of the silver shiny variegation on its green leaves. It is another low maintenance plant which can give a bit of texture amongst other greenery.

SUNLIGHT: Bright indirect sunlight, direct sunlight can burn its leaves

WATERING: Water weekly in summer and then less during the colder months. Test the soil with a finger before you water: at least the top inch should be dry.

HUMIDITY: Likes medium humidity, misting every few days can do the trick.

TIPS: Trim the stems to generate more growth

HOW TO WATER?

Submerge the whole ball in a bowl, bucket or sink up to the top of the ball. While it is light and dry, you may need to hold it down until the bubbles disappear. Then let it sit in water for 15 minutes. Take it out of the water and let drip dry.

 FERTILISER, PLANT FOOD, SOIL CONDITIONER

Fertilise monthly in spring and summer to encourage growth and NONE in winter. In the colder months, this plant generally hibernates. Therefore feeding with fertiliser won’t make it do much.

We use Munash organics with our plants and kokedamas as their products are gentle to the plants, plus they are ORGANIC! With the plant food, every 2 months is all you need to do.

Soil conditioners such as Seasol, is also good to use during the growth season. Therefore, using it fortnightly when you water the kokedama is also good for the devil’s ivy.

 GENERAL CARE

These care instructions serve as a guide only. The conditions in every home is different such as light, humidity, draft, heat, etc. and you know your home better than anyone else. These all affect the health and condition of your kokedama. We advise that you do a little bit of research prior to purchasing your kokedama.
